Yesterday Amelia was exactly 3 months old. She marked the occasion by repeatedly rolling from her back to her tummy:
Today she rolled from her back to her tummy and to her back again. She continues to be a fairly easy baby. My favorite part of the day is when I get her out of her crib in the morning. She opens her mouth up wide and gives me a big smile. She has started sleeping quite well at night - the last 2 nights she has slept for a 9 hour stretch, eaten, played around in her crib a little, then fallen asleep and slept a couple more hours. She goes to bed between 7:30-8 and gets up for good in the morning about 8am. She is hitting her milestones a little early. She can: weight bear on her legs (has been doing this since a couple weeks old but now really enjoys being held in a standing position); roll to her left side; prop up on her arms (but usually doesn't because her fist is in her mouth); laugh; squeal, blow rasberries, say "ah-goo," "ghee," and "ffff"; grab onto things (often my hair); keeps head level with body when pulled to sitting; has good head control. She is still a joy to us all.
