Amelia is now 10 months old and is walking. She can walk half way across a room now before falling down, and is attempting to run. This past month Jake painted Amelia's room pale yellow and we moved her crib in there from our room. It was an easy transition and she is sleeping better in her own room. She is sleeping through the night about half the time now. She sleeps about 10 hours per night and is an early riser. At the latest she'll wake at 6:30, but she's often up by 5:30. But she is taking a regular 2 hour nap each morning which I usually take full advantage of by sleeping also. She still doesn't like more than a few bites of food at a time. She is a smart girl, and mimics sounds and our movements. She babbles all the time, but the only discernible words are "mum mum mum" and "da da da." Gavin is her favorite person to watch and he is an expert at making her laugh. She likes to cuddle when she is sleepy and when she first wakes up, and Jake and I take full advantage of that. We are still letting her fall asleep while holding her at night, instead of putting her in her crib to fall asleep, just because we enjoy it so much. She is such a sweet baby.
