 Painted our headboard and bought a new picture. Ended up getting it for free because the frame was just a little messed up:

Spirograph fun - got one free from a neighbor

 Jake used his Thanksgiving break to install new lvp flooring in the computer room (which I painted the week before):

I didn't get a picture but we had Krispy Krunchy fried chicken and all the sides with my parents for Thanksgiving and it was great.  Cheesecake bites from aldi for dessert! Easy peasy.

Fall Break - North Carolina

 Over fall break we stayed 3 nights in Dillsboro, North Carolina, near Cherokee. I picked a house to stay in downtown so we wouldn't have to drive crazy mountain roads to get there. The house is directly across the street from the Haywood Smokehouse, some of the best bbq we've ever had. We visited Mingus Mill, hiked at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center, walked around downtown Dillsboro, drove and walked around Cherokee, visited the Cherokee museum, hiked to Mingo Falls, drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway s couple times, mined for gems, visited the North Carolina Arboretum, and took a crazy windy drive to visit the Cradle of Forestry in America.
