Wild Animal Safari

We had a fun visit with Uncle Tom and Joey over Veteran's Day weekend. 

 We took a little road trip to Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain. We've been wanting to take the kids there for years and this was the perfect opportunity. We started off at Lane's for breakfast:

This was the van we rented for our safari. It's seen better days:

 Amelia was scared at first but quickly warmed up to the animals. At one point she was so excited she stood up and yelled (to Tom) "I love the animals, and I love you!"

 Gavin laughed the entire time. He loved it:

Rest of October

Got our annual bushel of apples and Amelia helped me make applesauce:

 And apple nachos:

 Gavin bought a skateboard at our neighborhood yard sale for $1 and has been working on his skills:
