Gavin after church:

Gavin fell asleep in the car on the way to the park so we found a shady parking spot and let him sleep. It was a beautiful day and it was nice just sitting in the car with the windows down.

Gavin exploring the park:

Our first open house to sell our home was scheduled today. It snowed. It was 72 degrees yesterday. It hasn't snowed like this here since 2002. It was just raining a little when we left for church this morning. It started snowing during sacrament meeting. During sunday school all the classes for the teenagers and kids went outside to play in the snow. It was really neat to see the kids getting so excited. They were scraping the snow off car windshields to make snowballs. The teenage girls that wear sandals to church were running around barefoot in the snow with red feet. When we got home from church there was a message from our real estate agent asking if we wanted to go ahead and cancel the open house. It didn't take us long to change from our church clothes into our pajamas. Better luck next week.

Climbing into his toy cabinet:
Jake said Gavin learned these tricks all by himself today. So it begins. I'm wondering- do girls do this stuff too? Also tonight, while my back was turned of course, Gavin took 3 steps toward Jake. I thought I saw him take a couple steps yesterday out of the corner of my eye but wasn't sure, but I'd say its now official - we have a walker!
Gavin also figured out what his ginormous comb is for:

This is Gavin's "this food is cold!" face - he makes it with yogurt and applesauce too. He did eat all his ice cream despite the temperature!
Gavin really likes his ginormous comb:

He actually prefers standing in front of the zebra and bouncing up and down while it makes noises:
